Thousand Islands PMI Carries Out Disinfectant Spraying in Tidung Island

Thousand Islands PMI carried out simultaneous disinfectant spraying in several locations in Tidung Island Urban Village, South Thousand Islands.

Thousand Islands PMI Chairperson, Natsir Sabara conveyed, this mass disinfectant spraying was carried out to prevent COVID-19 transmission.

"We use equipment such as portable sprayers, water sprayers, motor carts, and 30 liters of disinfectant liquid. We focus on disinfecting public facilities," he asserted, Monday (1/11).

On the other hand, Tidung Island Urban Village Head, Hafsah stated, number of locations have been sprayed, including Jembatan Cinta (Love Bridge), village's main road, main pier, passenger boats and cargo boats, as well as self-isolating houses for residents exposed to COVID-19.

"We also deploy 50 PMI personnel to carry out disinfectant spraying. Hopefully this effort can prevent COVID-19 spread and make Tidung Island into green zone again," he mentioned.
